Physical Changes
Due to hormonal changes you may occasionally experience headaches, dizziness and fatigue. You may feel the need to start buying and possibly wearing maternity clothes. Emotional Feelings
Welcome to your Second Trimester! You made it! Most women are over or close to over the nausea and vomiting part. Usually, your energy begins to come back and you are sleeping more soundly. The next 12 weeks should be ,for the most part , smooth sailing. Most of the negative emotions have settled down at this time. . You are filled with excitement and anticipation. Your baby is fully formed. It will now just grow and get stronger. It measure 2 ½ inches and about ½ ounce. With all the critical development behind you, the risk of miscarriage is very low.
Things To Consider
Now that you are feeling more like eating , make sure that you don’t overindulge in empty calories or junk food. A drop in sugar levels after a triple fudge sundae will leave you feeling exhausted and dizzy. Try to keep up with a healthy diet of proteins, whole grains, fruits and vegetables.
