Week 19
Your Pregnancy At Week 19
Overview
Congratulations -- you're on week 19!
Physical Changes

You may notice the following: mid-pregnancy aches and pains by now -- lower abdominal achiness, dizziness, heartburn, constipation, leg cramps, mild swelling of ankles and feet, and a backache.

Emotional Feelings

You may be a little cranky with some of the physical changes, but still feeling good overall.

About Baby
Your baby measures about 5 to 6 inches from crown to rump and weighs about 7 ounces. Skin is developing and transparent, appearing red because blood vessels are visible through it. Creamy white protective coating, called vernix, begins to develop.
Things To Consider
This would be a great time for a pregnancy massage. Be sure to find a salon that specializes in pregnancy.
