Week 25
Your Pregnancy At Week 25
Overview
Congratulations -- you're on week 25!
Physical Changes

Your belly is getting bigger and wider now. You may start to develop hemorrhoids, which are dilated blood vessels in the rectal area caused by increased blood flow, constipation, indigestion and heartburn.

Emotional Feelings

Feeling uncomfortable is pretty common at this point. You may notice mood swings especially if you are not sleeping well due to frequent trips to the bathroom.

About Baby

Your baby now measures about 8.8 inches from crown to rump and weighs 1.5 pounds. If born prematurely it has a chance of survival in intensive care after the 23rd week.

Things To Consider
Try to keep fluids at a minimum at bedtime and urinate just before going to sleep. This may buy you a little extra time to catch up on your sleep. This is also the time to sign up for childbirth classes. There are many different choices. Research the method that fits your birth plans.
