Week 29
Your Pregnancy At Week 29
Overview
Congratulations -- you're on week 29!
Physical Changes

Your uterus is about 3.5 to 4 inches above your navel. Weight gain is probably between 19 and 25 pounds. You may also notice that your breasts are getting bigger. This is a great time for a nursing bra fitting. Some hospitals sell and fit nursing bras as well as department and maternity stores.

Emotional Feelings

You are probably working on getting your list of “have to get done” as well as possibly planning your baby shower. Exciting  and exhausting.

About Baby

Your baby measures about 10.4 inches from crown to rump, or a total length of about 16.7 inches from head to toe, and weighs about 2.7 pounds.  Baby is moving a little more like squirming as conditions in the womb become more cramped, but still doing a lot of kicking and stretching

Things To Consider
As you get closer and closer to your due date, reevaluate where you want to give birth, take a tour of the hospital or freestanding Birth Center. Also, make sure that you and your provider are still on the same page as far as birthing options. Discuss any concerns they may have. If you have hired a labor support person, have them accompany you to a prenatal visit to help with communication and discuss options.
