Congratulations -- you're on week 36!
Physical Changes
Your uterus is probably up under your ribs. But you're almost done! After this week you'll be seeing your doctor weekly. You may also be experiencing increased backache and heaviness, constipation, heartburn and discomfort in your buttocks and pelvis. Emotional Feelings
You may be alternating between fatigue and extra bursts of energy. About Baby
Your baby measures about 20.7 inches from head to toe and weighs about 6 pounds. Your baby now gains about a half a pound a week. The brain is developing leaps and bounds. Things To Consider
If you haven’t done so already, starting a list of what you want to bring to the hospital/BirthCenter. If you are choosing to have a homebirth, make sure that you have discussed with your midwife all the necessary items you will need to provide. Also, this is a great time to go over your birthplan. Make sure your provider has seen it and has a copy. In addition pack one to bring to the hospital/Birth Center or to give to your homebirth midwife.
